Title Ideas
Here are some ideas for your baby scrapbook page titles.
Use colored safety pins (larger ones) to hang your titles. You could print your title with a space between letters and cut out each letter in squares. Hang these squares with ribbon onto the safety pins. You may need to use two or three pins, depending on the length of your title.
With either chipboard letters or you could print the letters as above, adhere them across wide ribbon (baby pink or baby blue) with gaps between so you can see the ribbon.
Embroidery cotton to sew your title looks really effective. You can use a number of stitch possibilities and blanket stitch might be a good choice. You can lightly trace the letters from chipboard or print them out from your computer. If you are not confident doing this on the main piece of card for your layout, then stitch the title on a contrasting color piece and then tape this to the main card.
Buttons make great titles! How? Spell the title using small buttons. The buttons can all be the same size and color or contrasting colors and sizes. This title idea would be good to use for a small title to keep the size reasonable and the cost.
Banners are really popular at the moment. String them along some embroidery thread or other strong thread. They are basically just an upside down triangle so you can quite easily produce these shapes on the computer and print and cut them out on colored card (or color them later). Alternatively if you Google say ‘banner shape’ you will find lots of examples to print straight onto card. From there, just use stickers on each flag to spell the title, or use your word processor to add the letters to the ‘flags’ before you print.
Another easy shape you could do a similar title with is the ‘heart’ shape. This would look real cute. Again, just Google ‘heart shape’ to get lots of different choices to use for a template.
I could not possibly finish the baby scrapbook title ideas without mentioning ‘flowers’! Baby layouts are perfect for adding loads of flowers. For the title to be made using flowers I like to use white flowers and spray them with Glimmer Mist to change their color. Just put the flowers in an old box or lid and spray them before allowing them to dry. For the letters I would either use large, round brads with rub-ons for the letters. A little easier than this is to punch circles with pre-printed letters and adhere to the center of the flowers.
Nearly all the ideas I have given you for baby layout title ideas are very inexpensive and mean you don’t even have to leave the house before you start to produce an outstanding baby layout page.
